Boats

It seems that life is cyclical; I'm coming back to some of my favorite hobbies.  First, it was autocrossing, road racing, and motorcycling.  Now, it's boating.  I'm ready to cruise!  The following trip reports show where we've been and how much fun we had.

Cruises

Harstine Island, Harstene Island, or Harstein Island, WA, February 16, 2008. A circular tour, a chance to see sailboat races, and a hike.

Longbranch, WA, April 26-27, 2008. This is a great hideaway close to the home port with wondrous views of Mt Rainier.

Kingston, La Conner, WA, June 14-15, 2008. We cruised under the Tacoma Narrows, through Elliot Bay, Shilshole Bay, Appletree Cove, Possession Sound, Saratoga Passage, and finally the Skagit Bay and Swinomish Channel to its new home in La Conner.

Friday Harbor, WA, July 3-5, 2008. The first trip to the San Juan Islands (at least, in this boat).

Seattle Lakes Cruise, Aug 15, 2008. A work event around Lake Union and Lake Washington.

Deception Pass, Fidalgo Island, WA, Aug 17, 2008. First group trip.
